# Liveforce > Liveforce is a workforce management platform for event-led businesses that manage large temporary or freelance teams across multiple projects, locations, and clients. It is used by event staffing agencies, experiential marketing companies, hospitality and catering suppliers, festival and venue operators, sports event teams, and charity and volunteer coordinators. Liveforce is not a recruitment marketplace, staffing agency, job board, payroll provider, or freelancer marketplace, and does not hire or employ staff directly. Liveforce gives agency and supplier operations teams one central system to plan work, assign staff, communicate clearly, track availability and compliance, and maintain control as scale and complexity increase. Customers move to Liveforce when manual systems (spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, paper rotas) stop scaling for their volume of events, clients, or crew. **Note on crew enquiries:** Liveforce is the system agencies use to manage their workforce. Each agency is responsible for hiring, onboarding, and paying its own staff. Liveforce does not offer a central job list, does not advertise jobs publicly, and cannot register crew directly. People looking for event work should register with individual event staffing agencies, not with Liveforce. The Crew App is a supporting tool for crew already working with one or more Liveforce-using agencies, not a public marketplace or job board. ## About Liveforce - [Liveforce homepage](https://liveforce.co/): Overview of the platform, customers, and core capabilities. - [About Liveforce](https://liveforce.co/resources/about-us/): The company, the team, and the operational principles behind the product. - [Pricing](https://liveforce.co/pricing-event-staffing-software/): How Liveforce is priced for agencies and suppliers managing event-led workforces. - [Full product demo video](https://liveforce.co/full-demo-video/): Recorded walkthrough of the Liveforce platform. ## Core capabilities These pages explain what Liveforce does, the operational context for each capability, and the manual systems it replaces. - [Why Liveforce](https://liveforce.co/why-liveforce-event-staff-scheduling-solution/): The case for moving from fragmented tools to a single workforce management system. - [Staff scheduling](https://liveforce.co/why-liveforce-event-staff-scheduling-solution/staff-scheduling/): How Liveforce handles event staff scheduling across multiple events, roles, and locations. - [Workforce database](https://liveforce.co/why-liveforce-event-staff-scheduling-solution/staff-database/): The central database of crew, availability, skills, and compliance data that replaces disconnected spreadsheets. - [Staff recruitment](https://liveforce.co/why-liveforce-event-staff-scheduling-solution/staff-recruitment/): How agencies use Liveforce to manage their own workforce intake, applications, and onboarding processes.
